Fyssen Foundation Invites Applications for Postdoctoral Study Grants
The Fyssen Foundation is a French charitable organisation that supports research into the processes underlying and leading to cognition.
Fyssen Foundation Postdoctoral Study Grants are aimed at early career postdoctoral researchers working in research disciplines such as ethology, human palaeontology, archaeology, anthropology, psychology, epistemology, logic, and neuroscience.
Grants are awarded to researchers who gained their PhD:
Outside of France, and wish to conduct a project inside of France.
Inside of France, and wish to conduct a project in a country other than France (excluding any country of co-tutorship).
Applicants must be no more than 35 years old at the application deadline, and either hold a PhD gained since 1 September 2019, or gain a PhD no later than 31 December 2021. Applicants should not have worked in a postdoctoral position at their intended host laboratory for more than three months on 1 September.
The grant has an annual maximum value of €40,000 and is intended to cover expenses associated with hosting the project, living expenses and health insurance. Grants last for either 12 months or (subject to progress) 24 months.
Proposals to the 2021 call should be submitted online by 2 April 2021 (12:00 noon French time).
Outcomes are due to be announced by the end of the July.
