MIND Research Fellowships Now Open
The Mind Association is a charitable organisation concerned with supporting and promoting research excellence in philosophy. Its six-month Research Fellowships for 2020-2021 are now open to applications.
The Association’s Research Fellowships are intended to allow academics in philosophy in the UK to concentrate on conducting research in any area of philosophy through being relieved of teaching or administrative duties for six months by the employment of a replacement academic.
Research projects can be at any stage of completion, including initial stages of research.
The scheme is open to academics in a part-time or full-time post in a UK or Republic or Ireland higher education institution who are engaged in research in any area of philosophy.
Awards cover the cost of a six-month lectureship at the lowest spinal point of the Lecturer A scale or equivalent as specified by the rules of the institution, plus on costs such as National Insurance, pension, London Allowance etc where appropriate.
The deadline for applications is 3 February 2020.
