MRC Issues Funding Pre-Announcement: Public Health Intervention Development

The Medical Research Council (MRC) has released information about a future funding opportunity to develop early stage interventions that address UK or global public health challenges.

Information regarding a future funding opportunity has been released by the Medical Research Council (MRC) in advance of its opening on 29 November 2021. The call – Public Health Intervention Development – seeks to develop early stage interventions that address UK or global public health challenges.

Applicants must be based at UK research organisations that are eligible for MRC funding, including MRC units and centres.

The full economic cost of the project can be up to £150,000. MRC will fund 80% of the full economic cost (100% for overseas costs). Projects can last for up to 18 months.

The application deadline will be 25 January 2022 (16:00); applications will not be accepted until the opening date of 29 November 2021.
