Breast Cancer UK Grants Open for 2022
Funding available for research into the environmental and chemical causes and prevention of breast cancers.
Breast Cancer UK is a charitable organisation dedicated to discovering new and improved ways of tackling breast cancer.
Breast Cancer UK works with scientists researching the effects of cancer-causing and hormone-disrupting chemicals on humans. For the 2022 round of funding, applications will focus on the effects of any environmental chemical with endocrine disrupting or carcinogenic activity that may affect breast cancer risk.
Principal investigators working within recognised research institutions in the UK may apply. Applications demonstrating strong active collaborations between different scientific institutions, teams and/or fields of study will be prioritised. Priority will also be given to proposals that present clear future planning for continuation of research and maximise planning for public awareness of their results.
Funding is limited to £100,000 per project. Most projects last between 18 and 24 months, with the exception of PhD studentships, which last for three years.
Applications should be submitted by the 30 November 2022 deadline.
