ARSEP Launches 2024 Emergence Networks Call
ARSEP has announced the 2024 edition of its Emergence Networks programme, providing funding for the development of a French national network focused on multiple sclerosis research.
The Fondation pour l’aide à la recherche sur la Sclérose en Plaques (ARSEP – Foundation to Support Multiple Sclerosis Research) was created in France in 1969 and is a non-profit organisation recognised as promoting the public interest. Its mission is to contribute to the prevention and the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS) through research, teaching and providing information to the public.
The Foundation’s ‘Emergence’ initiative offers two programmes that alternate each year. For 2024, the initiative is providing funding for its Networks Programme. The programme aims to create a national network across France that will develop an innovative research project, initiate new technology or validate a specific approach in MS and/or related disorders.
Networks are open to groups outside of France but should include at least two French teams with a major role in the initiative. Networks may comprise scientific and/or clinical partners. Applicants must hold a permanent position in France (INSERM, CNRS, University, CEA, INRA etc).
The allocated budget will be €150,000 per year for three years. The allocated budget will cover operating expenses, small equipment and/or contract salaries related to the collaborative project, as well as short-term scientific exchange missions between network partner laboratories.
Applications must be submitted online by 31 March 2024.
