2024 Google EMEA Scholarships for Women in Computer Science Open For Applications
The Generation Google Scholarships for Women in Computer Science (EMEA) support female students of computer science, and related fields, undertaking a Bachelor’s degree programme at a university in Europe, Africa or the Middle East in the forthcoming academic year.
The scholarships are €7,000 (or local equivalent) to be used for tuition, fees, books, equipment and other supplies required for the applicants’ classes at their primary university.
Applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled on a Bachelors programme at a university for the 2023-24 academic year.
- Intend to be enrolled on or accepted as a full-time student in a Bachelors programme at an accredited university in Europe, Middle East or Africa for the 2024-25 academic year.
- Be studying computer science, computer engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Demonstrate a strong academic record.
- Demonstrate leadership and a passion for improving the representation of underrepresented groups in computer science and technology.
All self-identifying female candidates with an interest in computer science are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants will be assessed on the strength of their impact on diversity, equity and inclusion, leadership abilities and academic background.
