Closing Date: 07/06/2024
Funding is available to early career scientists, working in an area covered by the Journal of Cell Science, who would like to attend a microscopy training course.
The Company of Biologists was founded in 1925 by George Parker Bidder III, a prominent zoologist working in Europe during the late 19th and early 20th Century. His aim was to make a success of the affairs of ‘The British Journal of Experimental Biology’ (now ‘The Journal of Experimental Biology’). In 1952, the Company became a registered charity.
The ‘Journal of Cell Science’ (JCS) FocalPlan Training Grants are aimed at early career researchers, working in an area covered by the journal, who would like to attend any microscopy training course, including bioimage analysis. The grants are intended to assist individuals who would not otherwise have sufficient funding to attend.
