The European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (EPUAP) was set up in 1996 to lead and support all European countries in efforts to prevent and treat pressure ulcers.

EPUAP’s Research Committee Starting Grant offers funding for early career researchers to advance pressure ulcer management and prevention. The aim is to support innovative research ideas and empower the next generation of leaders in this field.
