BMBF Launches Third Call Within Its Science and Higher Education Studies Funding Programme
Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF – Federal Ministry for Education and Research) has issued the third call for proposals within its Science and Higher Education Studies Programme (WiHo – Wissenschafts- und Hochschulforschung). The focus of the call is on individual as well as joint application-oriented research projects that improve knowledge about the mental health of students. The goal is to enable evidence-based action by counselling units for students, universities, politics and other stakeholders. For this reason, projects should develop practice-oriented recommendations for higher education, higher education policy actors and other decision-makers in Germany.
Eligible are state and state-recognised institutions of higher education, non-university research and science institutions, other institutions in state university sector as well as supporting institutions. The additional participation of associated partners and practitioners (without funding) in the network is supported.
Joint projects may bring together scholars from the fields of sociology, education and educational science as well as psychology, health science or medicine.
For institutions of higher education and non-commercial research institutions, up to 100% of project-related costs may be covered.
