The Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering (QEPrize) supports bold, groundbreaking engineering innovation of global benefit to humanity. The prize promotes excellence in engineering and celebrates engineering’s visionaries. It inspires young minds to consider engineering as a career choice and it encourages engineers to push the boundaries of what is possible.

The prize is open to any individual or team (consisting of no more than 10 individuals), who is/are personally responsible for a ground-breaking innovation in engineering of demonstrable global benefit to humanity. There are no nationality or residency restrictions.

The value of the prize is £500,000.

Nominations should be submitted by the deadline of 27 June 2025.
