FPN/American Brain Foundation Clinical Research Training Scholarship in Peripheral Neuropathy

Funding to support early career researchers conducting clinical and translational research studies focused on furthering understanding of disease mechanisms, diagnosis, or treatment of peripheral neuropathy.

The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy and American Brain Foundation (ABF) co-fund the Clinical Research Training Scholarship in Peripheral Neuropathy to support and encourage early career investigators developing an academic career in neurological research.

The scholarship will fund an annual stipend and research-related costs over two years to support postdoctoral researchers and physician researchers conducting clinical and translational studies focused on furthering understanding of disease mechanisms, diagnosis, or treatment of peripheral neuropathy.

Eligible projects can include epidemiological or behavioural studies, clinical trials, studies of disease mechanisms, the development of new technologies, and health services and outcomes research. Disease-related studies not directly involving humans or human tissue are also encouraged if the primary goal is the development of therapies, diagnostic tests, or other tools to prevent or mitigate neurological diseases.
