Oskar Medical Award

Annual award for outstanding research works in the field of medicine in Germany.

Stiftung Oskar-Helene-Heim (OHH – Oskar-Helene-Heim Foundation) promotes science and research in the field of medicine, particularly orthopaedics, pulmonology, the treatment of abdominal diseases and orthopaedic technology in Germany.

The annual Oskar Medical Award (Oskar-Medizinpreis) honours outstanding achievements in the field of medicine.

The 2025 call aims to improve research, diagnostics and therapy in the field of pneumology. The award is given for works which contributed to the topic ‘Infections of the lungs and pleura’ with a focus on infections of the lungs and pleura not caused by coronaviruses.
