Grants are available to support PhD fieldwork across the field of socio-legal research.
Established in 1990 and developed from the existing Socio-Legal Group, the Socio-Legal Studies Association (SLSA) was created to satisfy a growing need for a permanent network of communication and support for socio-legal academics.
The SLSA offers PhD Fieldwork Grants to support fieldwork not covered by other funding sources and to encourage socio-legal research initiatives in a practical and applied way.
