BBS Sosei Heptares Prize for Biophysics

Award to recognise substantial contributions to biophysics or biophysical methods by researchers in the UK and Ireland.

The British Biophysical Society (BBS) presents the Sosei Heptares Prize for Biophysics to recognise outstanding contributions to biophysics by researchers in the UK and Ireland.

The award is presented every two years at the BBS biennial meeting to a BBS member who has made substantial contributions to biophysics or biophysical methods. The Society gives equal consideration to significant recent contributions as well as important longer term contributions.

The recipient will also be invited to present a plenary lecture, preferably at the next BBS biennial meeting.
