Deutsche Herzstiftung (German Heart Foundation) aims to raise awareness about heart disease and available treatments. The foundation organises campaigns and scientific projects to promote cardiovascular research and improve the quality of life for cardiac patients.

The Digital Innovations in Heart Medicine Research Award honours outstanding research works in the field of digitalisation in preventive, therapeutic and rehabilitative heart medicine.

The prize is open to scientists working in Germany who are below the age of 40.

The award is presented on the basis of published or unpublished research papers. Published papers must not have been published earlier than the year preceding the call for applications. The scientific paper may not exceed 20 pages.

The value of the award is €10,000.
