Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAM) Pathfinder: Demonstrate Competition

Closing Date: 17/12/2025

This competition provides funding for UK-registered businesses, research organisations and other partners to develop and demonstrate commercially viable connected and automated mobility technologies.

The Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) Pathfinder: Demonstrate Competition aims to accelerate the commercialisation of CAM technologies in the UK. The programme supports the development of products and enabling services that demonstrate enhanced capability and unlock clear commercial opportunities within the sector.

It is designed to help the UK CAM industry advance its technological readiness, with a focus on high value market segments and ensuring safety and security in deployment. Successful projects are expected to achieve a technology readiness level suitable for demonstration and validation in representative environments, actively engage with potential customers or operators, and progress toward defined commercial opportunities based on a sound market understanding.

The initiative seeks to strengthen the UK’s position as a leading market for early CAM deployment and to establish the foundations for a sustainable commercial market in connected and automated mobility products and services.

The competition is jointly operated by Innovate UK (IUK), Zenzic-UK Limited, Advance Propulsion Centre (APC) and the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV).
