Three $250,000 prizes to support and accelerate pioneering research by women in technology.

The Sony Women in Technology Award is a collaboration between Sony and Nature that aims to recognise and reward exceptional women who are making significant contributions to the technology field. The award highlights the achievements of women driving positive change through technology, with a focus on their impact on society and the planet. By showcasing these accomplishments, the award seeks to inspire and empower the next generation of women in technology.

Women researchers in the early to mid stages of their careers, working in academia, at a research institution, or an affiliated university spinout in any country, are invited to apply. A PhD or equivalent is not required.

Three winners will each receive $250,000 to further their research and innovation. Their work will also be showcased on Nature.com, amplifying its impact and fostering global collaborations.
