FranceAgriMer CASDAR National Vineyard Sustainability Plan
Closing Date: 15/05/2026
Grants available to fund projects developing sustainable durability strategies in vineyards.
FranceAgriMer is an organisation recognised by public authorities, local authorities and professionals in the agricultural, agri-food and fishing sectors, for the management of European and national funding.
FranceAgriMer offers a call for projects to participate in its Plan National de Durabilité du Vignoble (PNDV – National Vineyard Sustainability Plan), which has recently widened its scope to encompass all challenges related to the sustainability of wine production. The aim of the PNDV is to more broadly integrate innovation into practices and products, particularly in the context of the agroecological transition and climate change.
For 2026, FranceAgriMer is looking for projects which fit within its overall research theme for the year: integrated strategies for sustainable performance at the farm level. Three research axes have also been identified:
- Axis 1: Biodiversity in the service of vine productivity – finding the balance between synergy and antagonism.
- Axis 2: Viticultural practices and carbon storage – reconciling technical challenges and societal expectations.
- Axis 3: Physiology of plant material and quality of grafted plants.
The issues addressed by this call for proposals require a systemic and cross-disciplinary approach across scientific fields. Beyond technical aspects, the ambition of the PNDV is to consider the organisational, social, and economic dimensions of the questions addressed, which must be situated within a context of productivity and production quality.
This call for proposals aims to mobilise research and development stakeholders to collaboratively develop the answers and solutions expected by wine professionals. Any innovative technical or scientific topic identified as being of regional interest, and for which collective work at the national level would provide added value, may be considered, provided it falls within the stated themes.
