AI Solutions to Develop AI Competencies in Key Sectors Competition

UK registered organisations can apply for grants for AI solutions to support AI upskilling in BridgeAI key sectors.

This competition is jointly operated by Innovate UK (IUK) and the BridgeAI programme.

The competition aims to develop responsible and ethical AI personalised learning solutions to build AI competencies in key sectors: construction, transport and logistics, creative industries, and agriculture and food processing.

Projects must accelerate AI competency development in these sectors responsibly. They should support high-quality education using evidence-based methods. Content should align with industry standards and the AI Skills for Business Competency Framework for accreditation. Projects must also identify clear learning outcomes, promote upskilling and reskilling of the workforce in BridgeAI sectors, and identify an end user to pilot the solution.
