Arfvedson Schlenk Prize

Biennial prize for outstanding work in the field of lithium chemistry.

Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh – German Chemical Society) is a membership organisation bringing together people working in chemistry and the molecular sciences. The society is designed to promote chemistry in education, research and application. As part of its work, the society supports a number of research projects and publishes highly esteemed professional journals, particularly in applied chemistry. It also presents a number of research awards.

The Arfvedson Schlenk Award is awarded by GDCh to recognise scientists worldwide for their outstanding work in the field of lithium chemistry. It is sponsored by Albemarle Germany GmbH. The prize is offered biennially in odd-numbered years.
