ATS Diversity Grant

Grants to support early career investigators from underrepresented populations in the biomedical, clinical, behavioural, and social sciences undertaking basic, translational or clinical research projects to advance pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine or sleep medicine.

The American Thoracic Society (ATS) is a non-profit organisation that focuses on advancing scientific discovery and improving patient care for pulmonary diseases, critical illnesses and sleep-related breathing disorders, including asthma, COPD, lung cancer, sepsis, acute respiratory distress, sleep apnoea, and other diseases. The ATS research funding programme targets early career researchers and includes a range of awards funded solely by ATS and in partnership with other organisations.

The ATS Diversity Grants support US and international early career investigators from underrepresented populations in the biomedical, clinical, behavioural, and social sciences undertaking basic, translational or clinical research projects in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine.
