Closing Date: –

Project grants for research and teaching in the field of agricultural engineering, agriculture and related disciplines in Germany and abroad.

The CLAAS Stiftung (CLAAS Foundation) is a non-profit organisation in Germany, established in 1999 as part of the CLAAS group, a manufacturer of agricultural engineering equipment. The objective of the Foundation is to further the development of agricultural engineering and farming around the world.

As part of its work, CLAAS Foundation supports researchers at universities and research institutes looking to implement research projects with a clear connection to agricultural engineering, agriculture and affiliated areas. This may also include international research projects and collaborative projects between several institutions. Projects with a focus on original approaches, innovative ideas and with strong practical and social relevance are particularly encouraged, as are interdisciplinary projects.

In addition to research support, CLAAS Foundation also offers financial support on teaching and infrastructure. This may include grants to (partially) cover the costs for new laboratory equipment or funds to cover costs associated with an international programme or summer school.
