COPERNICUS Alliance Cooperation Funds

Funding for activities that contribute to the COPERNICUS Alliance ambition to build capacity and stimulate change for sustainable development in higher education and foster cooperation between members.

The COPERNICUS Alliance (CA) is a European network dedicated to helping people and institutions in a higher education environment to creatively address the challenges of tomorrow in a collaborative way, to jointly build the knowledge and competences needed for global sustainable development, and to actively engage with policy-makers and community stakeholders.

As part of its activities, CA dedicates part of its annual budget to fund members’ initiatives. Activities that contribute to the overall CA ambition to build capacity and stimulate change for sustainable development in higher education and that foster cooperation between members can be supported. Joint submissions of students from CA member institutions are also welcome.

Activities might involve but are not limited to:

• Workshops.
• Conferences.
• Publications.
• Support of early career researchers and student exchange.
• Participation in PhD defences.
• Networking (CA capacity building).
