Travel bursaries for researchers who are attending the Early Detection of Cancer Conference to give a poster presentation.
The Early Detection of Cancer Conference is an annual event run by the Canary Center at Stanford School of Medicine, the Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and Cancer Research UK (CRUK) that brings together experts in early detection from multiple disciplines to share ground-breaking research and progress in the field.
A travel bursary is available to support researchers attending the 2025 Early Detection of Cancer Conference to give a poster presentation or lightning talk. Applicants should have an abstract accepted for presentation at the conference.
The 2025 Early Detection of Cancer Conference will take place in Portland, Oregon, on 21 to 23 October 2025. Session topics for the 2025 conference include:
- Where will AI take us with Early Detection?
- Mechanistic insight and Early Detection markers.
- Innovative technologies for cancer Early Detection.
- Early Detection in primary care.
The conference is part of a long-term commitment from the three event sponsor to invest in early detection research, to understand the biology behind early-stage cancers, find new detection and screening methods, and enhance uptake and accuracy of screening.
