The Economic Science Association (ESA) is an international professional organisation devoted to economics as an observational science with a focus on using controlled experiments to learn about economic behaviour.
The association presents a number of annual prizes including:
ESA Young Scholar Prize: Prize to recognise a young scholar whose research has made a significant contribution to experimental methodology. It is intended to help advance the career of the young scholar, through for example furthering their promotion cases or their ability to obtain funding.
ESA Prize for Exceptional Achievement: Prize to recognise a researcher who has overcome unusually difficult obstacles to achieve success in their research.
