EU-Resolution Biology Network (EU-RESOLVE) STSMs and Conference Grants

Funding from the COST-funded EU-RESOLVE initiative to support short-term scientific missions (STSMs) and conference attendance relating to resolution biology.

Founded in 1971, COST is an intergovernmental framework for European Cooperation in the field of Scientific and Technical research, designed to connect research initiatives across Europe and beyond and enable researchers and innovators to grow their ideas by sharing them with their peers.

The COST EU-RESOLVE action aims to create a multidisciplinary, pan-European network of excellence in resolution biology. The network brings together academics, clinicians, biotechnology companies and other stakeholders to advance understanding of the mechanisms that regulate the resolution of inflammation and accelerate the translation of these findings into more effective treatments for patients with inflammatory diseases.

EU-RESOLVE provides funding for Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) and Conference Grants as follows:

• STSM Grants support short research visits of between 5 days and 90 days (and up to 180 days if the applicant is a Young Researcher and Innovator (YRI)) between institutions participating in the Action to foster collaboration, share methods, and advance the scientific objectives of EU-RESOLVE.
• Conference Grants support the participation of YRI in meetings, conferences, workshops, and training schools that are relevant to EU-RESOLVE and contribute to its objectives. It is open for all YRIs but participants from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) are prioritised.
