Fondation de France Study of Aggregopathy in Neurodegenerative Diseases

Closing Date: 17/09/2025

Grants available to fund research teams in France focussed on the study of aggregopathy in neurodegenerative diseases.

The Fondation de France is an independent philanthropic network that undertakes its own programmes and those of the hundreds of funds and foundations under its aegis.

The Foundation has launched a call which aims to support research into neurodegenerative diseases characterised by aggregopathies such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and Huntington’s disease. The proposed projects may address all the physiopathological mechanisms of these pathologies and may range from fundamental to clinical research.

The goals of the call are as follows:

  1. Develop knowledge around pathologies associated with abnormal protein aggregation.
  2. Promote the emergence of innovative therapeutic solutions in the context of these pathologies.

The committee also considers exploratory projects (models or technologies used, therapeutic targets studied) for one-year funding, in order to obtain validation of the concept. These projects are financed for one year may be renewed after evaluation of a new request.
