Fondation Michel Serres Interdisciplinary Thesis Prize

Prize to award interdisciplinary doctoral theses which draw upon both a discipline of exact science and a discipline of humanities and social sciences.

Housed by the Institut de France, the Fondation Michel Serres (Michel Serres Foundation) aims to promote research and publications on the work of French philosopher Michel Serres as well as actions implementing his thinking.

The Michel Serres Prize for Interdisciplinary Theses, organised by the Foundation, aims to annually reward a doctoral thesis that draws on at least one discipline from the exact sciences, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science or life sciences, and at least one discipline from the humanities and social sciences, including but not limited to philosophy, sociology, anthropology, literature, history or geography.
