Fondation Paralysie Cérébrale PARTAGE Call for Projects
Closing Date: 22/03/2026
Funding is available for research projects based in France identifying barriers to social participation, creating enabling environments, and providing support for those living with cerebral palsy.
La Fondation Paralysie Cérébrale (Cerebral Palsy Foundation), formerly known as Fondation Motrice, was founded by three associations to support research, innovation and the spread of good practice in the field of cerebral palsy in order to improve the quality of life of those affected by the condition.
The Foundation’s PARTAGE (Social PARTicipation and Advancement in AGE) call for projects focuses on the social and civic participation of adults with cerebral palsy. The objective of the call is to better understand the specific needs of adults with cerebral palsy, to value their skills, and to propose concrete solutions to improve their participation in all aspects of life: education, employment, health, mobility, culture, parenting, political life, etc.
The Foundation is looking to support applied research projects aimed at producing knowledge to improve the social and civic participation of adults living with cerebral palsy. Projects must meet the following criteria:
- Projects should focus on social participation, particularly on the performance of everyday activities and social roles valued by the individual or their socio-cultural context, with the aim of promoting the individual’s fulfilment within society and throughout their life.
- Projects are expected to contribute to a better understanding of the specific needs of adults living with cerebral palsy and the processes for improving their social participation by building on and valuing their skills and abilities, facilitating their journey of care and always promoting their independence, particularly during the transition from childhood to adulthood and as they grow older.
- The projects should identify areas for improvement to further increase the social participation and active civic involvement of adults living with cerebral palsy in all areas of life (education, employment, health, sport, culture, parenting, political representation, etc).
- Projects based primarily on qualitative studies (interviews, focus group discussions, observation) and/or action research are encouraged. Projects combining qualitative and quantitative approaches may be proposed.
- Collaborative projects involving people with cerebral palsy, their families, carers, professionals and researchers throughout the research process are encouraged.
