Francis D Pagani MD Endowed Mentorship Award

Award to recognise the mentorship of researchers working in the treatment of heart and lung diseases. 

The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT), is a non-profit, multidisciplinary, professional organisation dedicated to improving the care of patients with advanced heart or lung disease.

Funded by the ISHLT foundation, the Francis D Pagani MD Endowed Mentorship Award will be given annually to an ISHLT member who displays selfless mentorship of clinicians, educators or researchers dedicated to the treatment of advanced heart and lung disease.

Nominees will be reviewed on their ability to provide their mentees with intellectual growth and development, career development and guidance, personal development and guidance, positive role modelling, and work/life balance.
