Prize awarded to encourage scientific collaboration in any field between France and Indonesia.

France’s Académie des Sciences (Academy of Sciences) is an independent scholarly society created in 1666. It is one of the five academies within the Institut de France and is dedicated to developing science and advising government on scientific topics.

In collaboration with the Indonesian Academy of Sciences, the Académie des Sciences awards a Scientific Prize, intended to promote excellence in scientific cooperation between France and Indonesia. The Prize will recognise outstanding joint achievements by a pair of researchers – one affiliated with an Indonesian research institution and the other with a French research institution – and will encourage the continuation of their collaboration.
