The website will provide comprehensive and easily accessible information about routes to work in and with UK universities, research institutions and businesses. It will also act as a service for advice for international researchers and innovators looking to access the UK’s facilities and assets on topics including:
- Employment.
- Funding types and options.
- Career opportunities.
- Visas and immigration.
- Living in and moving to the UK.
The website has been launched in partnership with UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), the Cabinet Office, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and other government departments.
UKRI Chief Executive Professor Dame Ottoline Leyser said:
“The success of our knowledge economy is dependent on collaboration and increased connectivity across the research and innovation system in the UK and globally.
“Tackling challenges such as the climate crisis depends on connecting a wealth of research and innovation activity.
“This service will help facilitate the much needed flow of people and ideas, joining up the research and innovation system to enable crucial discoveries and deliver tangible benefits to society.”
