INCa Implementation of End-of-Treatment Systems in Oncology
Closing Date: 15-07-2026
Grants available to test the implementation of end-of-treatment systems in establishments treating cancer in France.
France’s Institut National du Cancer (INCa – National Cancer Institute) was created in 2004 and is the health and science agency responsible for cancer control in France. It reports to the French Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and the Ministry of National Education, Higher Learning and Research. Its goals include reducing the incidence of avoidable cancers and the number of cancer deaths, improving the quality of life of people with cancer during and after their illness, and reducing inequalities related to cancer.
As part of improving support for cancer patients at the end of cancer treatments, INCa is operating a call for projects which aims to test the implementation of the end-of-treatment system, in accordance with the organisational procedures defined in the reference document published by the Institute in October 2025.
The aim of the call is to support organisations to better structure patient support at the end of their treatment journey at a medical, paramedical and social level, as well as to strengthen the coordination of actors and the continuity of care. This includes:
- Supporting cancer treatment facilities in the operational implementation of the end-of-treatment system.
- Supporting the organisation of structured, legible and coordinated pathways for cancer patients at the end of their treatment.
- Experimenting with reproducible and transferable organisational models.
- Collecting evaluation and monitoring data to assess the impact of the system on the patient journey.
Funding is allocated in collaboration with the direction générale de l’offre de soins (DGOS – Directorate-General for Healthcare Provision).
