France’s Institut National de l’Histoire de l’Art (INHA – National Institute of Art History) was founded in 2001 and is a public scientific, cultural and professional establishment under the authority of the French ministries of Education and of Culture. Its objective is to provide a meeting point for researchers and curators from museums and libraries, in conjunction with other French and international art history institutions.
INHA offers grants to Master’s students studying art history to enable travel to France for research purposes. Applications will be evaluated based on the quality of the presentation of the research topic and the justification for a trip to France.
