Residential fellowship programme at the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development in Dresden, Germany. The fellowships are intended to promote collaborative research across disciplines and borders.
The Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER) is a non-university research centre in Germany and a member of the Leibniz Association. The institute covers four broad research areas including the built environment; landscape, ecosystems and biodiversity; spatial information and modelling; as well as the transformative capacities of neighbourhoods, cities and regions. Its research groups cover topics such as urban regeneration, anthropogenic and natural resources, sustainable economic dynamics, urban structure and policy, as well as urban human-nature resonance.
The IOER Fellowship Programme offers leading international scholars the opportunity to advance their research work in close collaboration with the institute. The fellowships are intended to promote innovative inter- and transdisciplinary research. Proposed projects must align with the scientific profile of IOER.
