Funding to support early career researchers pursuing promising research on complex lymphatic anomalies, including Gorham Stout Disease (GSD), Generalized Lymphatic Anomaly (GLA), Kaposiform Lymphangiomatosis (KLA) and Central Conducting Lymphatic Anomaly (CCLA).

The Lymphatic Malformation Institute (LMI) is a US-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation established in 2010. Its mission is to improve the clinical care of patients with generalized lymphatic anomaly (GLA)/Lymphangiomatosis and Gorham-Stout disease.

The LMI offers the Alfie Milne Young Investigator Award to support early career researchers, such as postdoctoral and clinical fellows or instructors, pursuing promising research on complex lymphatic anomalies, including GSD, GLA, KLA and CCLA. The award aims to support talented researchers committed to a career in lymphatic research. As this is a mentored award, the research project must be conducted under the guidance of a scientific mentor.
