One year research grant to support innovative basic, clinical and translational research with potential to improve the diagnosis and treatment of sarcoma.

MSTS, in partnership with Sarcoma Strong Inc. and STL Cure Sarcoma, are co-funding the Cure Sarcoma Research Award to support innovative research with potential to improve the diagnosis and treatment of sarcoma.

The grant offers funding over one year to fund clinical, translational, or basic sarcoma research exploring subjects such as comparative clinical trial, cancer detection, immunotherapy, cellular signalling, genomic sequencing, liquid biopsy, artificial intelligence, prospective registry, and other contemporary research concepts.

It is expected that recipients of this award will go on to apply for a substantive research grant (eg NIH R03/R21/R01) or OREF Grants within two years of grant completion.
