A programme of training and development designed to advance the health and social care research careers of candidates in England at PhD level.
The aim of the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Doctoral Award is to support the career development of all health and social care professionals by enabling candidates to complete a PhD. The award supports research in any scientific discipline or sector that contributes to improving health, including public health and social care, within NIHR’s funding remit.
