ORUK/BIOS Pump-Prime Research Fund (PPRF)

Funding to support pump-prime research projects, including early-stage and pilot projects, in the field of trauma and orthopaedic surgery.

Orthopaedic Research UK (ORUK) and the British Indian Orthopaedic Society (BIOS) co-fund the Pump-Prime Research Fund (PPRF) to support pump-prime projects in the field of trauma and orthopaedic surgery. Funding is available for early-stage and pilot studies that have the potential to develop into larger-scale longitudinal studies.

Support is aimed at orthopaedic surgery trainees who are of Indian origin (UK or Indian born) and are currently training or practicing in the UK. Research must be undertaken at a host institution in the UK.
