Pancreatic Cancer UK Research Innovation Fund Open for Applications

The Pancreatic Cancer UK Research Innovation Fund aims to encourage and support truly unique and innovative research into the causes, detection, treatment, and support for people affected by pancreatic cancer. This seed funding scheme provides short-term investment to explore research questions and hypotheses that are innovative in their objectives and/or means of delivery.

Projects may focus on any field or discipline with the potential, in the short or long term, to improve outcomes or quality of life for people with pancreatic cancer. Proposals should be underpinned by rigorous methodology, appropriate expertise, and access to high-quality research facilities.

Proposals must demonstrate a clear and tangible link to the aims of Pancreatic Cancer UK’s Research Strategy and Research Ambitions.

Applications are invited from both clinical and non-clinical researchers. The lead applicant must be based in the UK at a recognised not-for-profit research organisation, such as a university, hospital, or similar institution.

The maximum award is £100,000 for projects lasting up to 18 months.
