RadoNorm Travel Grants and Research Stay Travel Grants

Closing Date: –

Travel grants to support exchange/training visits to laboratories as well as research stay travel grants to support ECRs with exchange visits, participation in long-term training courses and other events that would further their training in radiation protection research.

The RadoNorm project is funded under the European Union’s EURATOM programme in order to manage risk from radon and naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM) exposure situations to assure effective radiation protection based on improved scientific evidence and social considerations.

RadoNorm offers Travel Grants to enable PhD students and early career researchers to apply for financial support of exchange/training visits to laboratories, preferably outside the applicant’s country of residence. Visits to RadoNorm beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries are possible.

In addition, Research Stay Travel Grants are available to financially support RadoNorm Early Career Researchers (ECRs) with exchange visits, participation in long-term training courses and other events that would further their training in radiation protection research, where the normal RadoNorm Travel Grant is inadequate to cover expenses.
