RVO Energy and Climate Research and Development (EKOO)

Grant funding to support collaborative research between companies and researchers on affordable climate neutral and/or circular products or services.

Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO – Netherlands Enterprise Agency) is an executive body of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. RVO aims to contribute to sustainable prosperity that meets the needs and ambitions of today and safeguards the economic and natural resources of tomorrow. RVO provides information, advice and funding. RVO designs and implements policy, and ensures compliance with laws and regulations.

The Energy and Climate Research and Development (EKOO) programme is one of the funding instruments of the Topsector Energy for energy-innovation. EKOO is commissioned by the Ministry of Climate and Green Growth.

Within the framework of the EKOO programme, partnerships of companies and researchers collaborate on developing opportunities for cheaper, climate-neutral, and/or circular products and services.
