Second 2024 Deadline Published for DKH Investigator Initiated Trials in Cancer Research
Deutsche Krebshilfe (DKH) supports research projects with the aim of giving new impulses to cancer research and to improve treatment for cancer patients. The DKH is the most important private funder for cancer research in Germany.
The DKH offers funding for Investigator Initiated Trials (Krebstherapiestudien) on cancer which are run by not-for-profit organisations in Germany.
Eligible to apply are research institutes and associated organisations in Germany, so long as they are not working for profit and are not associated with any for-profit companies. Support from industry partners may only be provided in the form of a free supply of test substances.
No values are specified.
Simultaneous submissions of funding applications are possible but must be declared.
Existing sponsors must be declared.
The host institution must provide some in-kind contribution to the project, for example in terms of personnel, materials or equipment.
