September 2021 Deadline for the AUF Francophonie Prize for Early Career Researchers
The award aims to reward up to four researchers who have acquired scientific recognition and who have achieved a significant breakthrough, in particular within the context of the Francophonie.
The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (Francophone University Agency – AUF) is composed of more than 900 universities, university networks and scientific research centres that use the French language in more than 100 countries. It promotes scientific excellence, innovation, best practices and collaborative projects between francophone higher education establishments and research institutes.
The AUF Francophonie Prize for Early Career Researchers recognises up to four outstanding researchers who have achieved a significant breakthrough, in particular within the context of the Francophonie.
This biennial prize covers the following disciplines:
- Science and technology
- Humanities and Social Sciences
This call for applications is addressed to higher education and research institutions that are members of AUF. To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be aged 40 or under at the time of applying for the prize
- Hold a PhD or a doctorat d’État
- Be affiliated to a AUF member organisation
€5,000 will be awarded to each winner.
Applications for the 2021 call must be submitted by the deadline of 30 September 2021 (18:00 GMT).
