The Colon Cancer Prevention Award (Darmkrebs-Präventionspreis) has been awarded by Stiftung LebensBlicke annually since 2020 for excellent projects on colon cancer prevention and early detection.

The award promotes research projects, studies as well as information and advisory services that help the early detection of colon cancer.

Eligible to apply are medical doctors, doctoral researchers, scientists, as well as companies, businesses, public institutions and organisations in German-speaking countries. If possible, the project should be documented in one or more scientific publications (in print or online) that were published between 1 January 2024 and 15 December 2025, or have been accepted for publication.

The award is endowed with a sum of €4,000.

Applications for the 2026 Award must be submitted by the deadline of 31 December 2025.
