Submissions Open for 55th Léopold Griffuel Awards in Oncology
Fondation ARC has opened applications for the latest edition of its Léopold Griffuel Awards, recognising excellence in basic, translational and clinical cancer research.
The ARC Foundation for Cancer Research (Fondation ARC) has opened submissions for the 55th edition of its annual Léopold Griffuel Award, open to researchers around the world.
The Awards are offered in two categories: one for basic research and one for translational and clinical research. Prizes are presented to an individual investigator or a small team of researchers whose work has led to a major breakthrough in oncological research.
The Award is open to individual investigators and small teams of researchers (maximum of six) worldwide. Each nomination must be sponsored by at least two internationally renowned scientists, preferably not from the same institute as the candidate. A maximum of five sponsors is permitted.
Both prizes are worth €150,000 each. €50,000 of each prize will be awarded to the recipient(s) with the remainder paid to the recipient’s host institution. Funds are to be used to further scientific work within five years of award.
