TKI Dinalog AI for Circular Processes

Closing Date: 17-07-2026

Public-private partnership funding for research into a specific innovation challenge where AI can contribute to further the circular economy transition and enhance circular processes.

TKI Dinalog was established in 2009 by Dinalog, TNO and NWO to promote innovation in the Topsector Logistics by achieving structural private-public research collaboration. Funding is provided by TKI Dinalog to fund collaborative projects to address issues and innovation within logistics.

This call falls under the PPS Innovation Scheme 2026 and invites consortia to submit research proposals focusing on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support circular economy processes, particularly in logistics and value chains. The aim is to develop proofs of concept demonstrating how AI can enable circular supply chains, logistics processes, and chain governance, with outcomes that are transferable across applications.

Projects should address one of three themes aligned with the Knowledge and Innovation Agenda for the Circular Economy (KIA CE):

  • Design for circularity (eg product design, materials, reuse).
  • Circular resource chains and processes (eg logistics, tracking materials).
  • Trust, behaviour, and acceptance (eg adoption of circular practices).

The call targets sectors such as textiles, furniture, electronics, capital goods, and batteries.
