Wellbeing of Women – RCOG Entry Level Scholarships

Entry Level Scholarships to enable healthcare professionals and scientists in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology to improve women’s healthcare.

Wellbeing of Women (WoW) funds basic science and clinical research on all aspects of obstetrics, gynaecology and midwifery.

Wellbeing of Women in partnership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) will jointly fund Entry Level Scholarships to enable healthcare professionals and scientists to develop interests in research to improve sexual and reproductive health outcomes for women.

The award will fund basic science, clinical or translational research projects in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology to improve women’s healthcare. Awards are intended to provide pump priming funds to enable professionals involved in obstetrics and gynaecology to be exposed to a research environment and to obtain pilot data that will enhance an application for a research fellowship (PhD or MD).

The research must be undertaken in the UK.
